Competition: Premier League
Market: Jose Mourinho next to leave post
Odds: 4/6 @ Ladbrokes

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is walking the tightrope after the defending champions lost once again in the Premier League this week. Suffering a 2-1 defeat to Leicester City on Monday, the Blues found themselves just one point above the relegation zone after 16 games this season, and talks reportedly took place between executives over Mourinho’s future.

Despite winning the title in the summer, the Blues’ woeful form this campaign is likely to see the popular boss taking the axe. There has been a suggestion of discontentment in the dressing room, and the relationship between players and manager isn’t likely to be healthy. Only Sunderland and Aston Villa have lost more games than Chelsea in the league, and goals have been sparse too.

The Blues have failed to score in three of their last five games, and Mourinho even accused his side of betraying him after their last outing. Such comments won’t sit well with the squad, nor will they impress owner Roman Abramovich who will have the final say on Mourinho’s future. Ladbrokes are giving odds of 4/6 for the Chelsea boss to be the next manager out the door this season.
