Guangzhou R & F missed the chance to move top of the Chinese Super League after a 2-1 defeat at Dalian Aerbin.

Guangzhou’s Rafael Coelho was on hand to cancel out Gustavo Canales’ opener but Wang Hongyou replied within two minutes for Dalian with what proved to be the winner.

Beijing Guoan moved to second at the expense of Guangzhou R & F and sit one point behind leaders Guangzhou Evergrande following a 0-0 draw with Qingdao Jonoon.

Tianjin Teda comfortably beat Henan Jianye 2-0 away while Changchun Yatai defeated Shanghai Shenhua by the same scoreline.

Liaoning Whowin beat Shandong Luneng 1-0 to keep the latter in the relegation zone.
