Queens Park Rangers striker Djibril Cisse says the addition of Park Ji-Sung to his team’s squad is a ‘massive’ boost.
Park joined the London club earlier this month after seven years at Manchester United and Cisse said his winning experience at Old Trafford would be huge for QPR.
“Ji is a massive player,” Cisse told the club’s website.
“He will be huge for us. He’s got a lot of experience having played for a couple of big, big clubs. He’s what we needed – quality, experience, a winning-mentality.”
Cisse also said Park’s arrival would be a boost for the club’s profile worldwide.
“Ji-Sung is a big, big, big star in Asia, so it is great for the club to promote the brand in this area of the world as well,” he said.
Meanwhile, QPR defeated Kelantan 5-0 in the second game of their tour of south-east Asia, with their next match against Persipura Jayapura on Monday.
