Antonio Conte has called up seven uncapped players for Italy’s training camp this week.

Marco Sportiello, Armando Izzo, Lorenzo Tonelli, Marco Benassi, Danilo Cataldi, Davide Zappacosta and Leonardo Pavoletti have all been summoned for a series of training sessions which start at Coverciano on Wednesday.

No players from club sides involved in domestic cup finals in the coming week – including Juventus, AC Milan, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain – have been called up.

Leonardo Bonucci is the exception, suspended for the Coppa Italia final, but there is no space for MLS duo Andrea Pirlo and Sebastian Giovinco.

Conte will name his provisional squad for Euro 2016 next Monday. They face friendly matches with Scotland and Finland before heading to France for the Euro 2016 finals.
