Antonio Conte says he is not worried about Juventus’ disappointing form in the past few weeks.

Juve have won only two of their past seven games, including an extra-time win over AC Milan, but Conte remains optimistic about his side’s performances, as he feels results do not tell the entire story.

“I cannot say that we are going through a difficult period if I take a look at the league table,” Conte said at a press conference.

“We are through to the knockout stages of the Champions League and reached the semi-final of the Coppa Italia, so I’d say we’re doing fine.

“The recent results do not worry me. You cannot just look at the results. Apart from the game against Sampdoria, I was never unhappy with our performance. Luck was not on our side.”

Juve will be looking to return to winning ways against Chievo on Sunday, with their lead at the top of Serie A now down to just three points, ahead of second-placed Napoli.
