Fulham are the latest team to join Mohamed Gedo’s growing list of admirers. The 25 year old has been very impressive for defending champions Egypt in the ongoing African Cup of Nations and has also attracted attention from the likes of Celtic, Sunderland, Real Sociedad and Osasuna.
Gedo started his career with Al-Ittihad Al-Sakndary and still plies his trade for them in the Egyptian Premier League. He is primarily an attacking midfielder who can also play in the role of a striker.
Gedo made his debut for Egypt earlier this month in a friendly against Mali. He scored on his debut and currently boasts of four goals in five games for the Pharaohs. Along with Ahmed Hassan, Flavio and Seydou Keita, he currently leads the goal scoring charts at the 2010 African Cup of Nations.
