Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois says he is open to the prospect of spending another season on loan at Atletico Madrid.
The 20-year-old signed for the west London side in July 2011, but is yet to make a first-team appearance having spent the last season-and-a-half at the Vicente Calderon.
And with Petr Cech established as the number one shot-stopper at Stamford Bridge, the Belgian is keen to continue playing regularly.
“I am Chelsea player, but I am happy here,” he told AS. “I’ll have to see what is best for them but I would be very happy if I stayed here for another year.
“I still haven’t spoken to Chelsea though. If I can’t play for them, then Atletico is the best club I can be at.”
