Crystal Palace are hoping to get back on track in the Premier League with a win against Aston Villa this weekend at Selhurst Park. The Eagles are flying under manager Alan Pardew, and are favourites to come out on top in this afternoon’s clash as a result.

Palace and Aston Villa were in decent form at the tail-end of last season, and have somewhat impressed this campaign too. They will both fancy their chances of coming away with a win as a result, as there is little between the two sides this afternoon.

The home side are perhaps more settled, with Pardew avoiding having made major alterations to the set up following last season’s success, but they will have one or two of their summer buys in the side to make an impression.

As for Aston Villa, the visitors have had a respectable start to the new season. They beat newly-promoted AFC Bournemouth away from home, and put up somewhat of a fight in a 1-0 defeat to Manchester United most recently.
