The Russian league once again has a new leader, as CSKA Moscow beat Zenit St Petersburg 2-1 to surpass Rubin Kazan at the top.
Ouwa Maazou scored the opener in CKSA’s favor after 31 minutes but 2007 champions Zenit came back as Igor Semshow levelled nine minutes after half time.
The winner would come at six minutes from the end though and was scored by CSKA’s Brazilian striker Vagner Love.
CSKA have 19 points after nine matches, one point more than Rubin Kazan who drew 2-2 at Amkar Perm on Saturday.
