CSKA Moscow have secured their second place in the Russian Premier League with a 4-0 win over champions Rubin Kazan.
From the start it was clear that Rubin lacked motivation, having secured their title last week.
CSKA were particularly strong in the second half and man of the match was without a doubt Brazilian striker Vagner Love. The forward first scored in the 56th minute, then in the 76th and completed his traditional hat-trick five minutes later.
The fourth and final goal came from Zhirkov in the 89th minute.
With only one match to go, CSKA have a five-points advantage over local rivals Dinamo Moscow, for whom a third place is now the best possible outcome.
