CSKA Moscow are readying summer bid for Sao Paulo Henrique Ganso, according to Russian newspaper Izvestia.

The Russian giants look set to remain without Keisuke Honda and Alan Dzagoev in the summer transfer window, and they believe the Brazilian would be a perfect replacement for one of the two attacking midfielders.

CSKA Moscow plan to offer €5 million for a third of the player’s rights and ensure the first option to complete the purchase in the summer transfer window.

Having paid just €9 million for Ganso last September, Sao Paulo chiefs are likely to seriously consider the offer.

Considering the heavy interest in his services from top European clubs, the 23-year-old surprised everyone by option to leave Santos for Sao Paulo.

Nevertheless, the player is still keen on moving to Europe and could be interested in a lucrative offer from Russia.

Since joining Sao Paulo in September, Ganso has scored 2 goals in 11 league appearances for the club.
