Unheralded South Korean midfielder Kim In-Sung has joined CSKA Moscow after a successful trial with the Russian Premier League club.
Kim, 22, has never played for the South Korea national team nor even in the domestic top flight K-League, arrives from National League side Gangneung City.
The right-winger had impressed during a November trial with CSKA, before joining their recent training trip to Spain.
He he has now agreed terms at the Arena Khimki.
“I’m surprised he hasn’t won a cap nor played in the K-League,” CSKA manager Leonid Slutsky told Sports Chosun.
“He is adapting well and we are looking forward to having him.”
As for Kim, he said: “I’ve always dreamed of playing in Europe and trying to develop my skills. I will use my speed and crossing to compete in Russia.”
