Guangzhou Evergrande continued their impressive form with a 1-0 win over Hangzhou on Sunday to stay top of Chinese Super League.

Marcello Lippi’s men have now won their last five league games with Zhang Linpeng’s 13th-minute goal securing all three points at the Yellow Dragon Sports Center.

Shandong Luneng are level on points with Evergrande after they beat Wuhan Zall 4-1, although Radomir Antic’s side have played a game more than the leaders.
Lu Zheng got Shandong off to a good start, scoring after seven minutes, before Zhu Ting levelled matters 27 minutes later.
The second half was Shandong’s though, as Han Peng scored twice and Wang Yongpo added the fourth in the 90th minute.
Guizhou Renhe move into the third and final AFC Champions League spot after their 1-0 win over bottom side Tianjin Teda, Rafa Jorda getting the only goal, while Qingdao Jonoon sit just outside the top three after beating Shanghai SIPG by the same scoreline thanks to a Zheng Long effort.
Guangzhou R&F moved further clear of the relegation spots with a closely fought 3-2 win over Dalian Aerbin.
The sides were level at half-time with goals from Jiang Ning and Yu Hanchao, before Guangzhou edged ahead through Zhang Shuo and Ning’s second.
Peter Utaka pulled a goal back four minutes from time but it was too late with the result now leaving both sides on 11 points.
The other side on 11 points, Jiangsu Sainty, drew 1-1 against fifth-placed Liaoning Whowin, with both goals coming the first half from Hamdi Salihi and James Chamang.
Second-bottom side Changchun Yatai remain without a win after they were beaten 3-1 by Shanghai Shenxin, despite taking the lead.
Liu Weidong put his side ahead before a Wang Yun brace and a Kieza goal ensured the visitors move into eighth place.
A 63rd-minute Giovanni Moreno goal ensured Shanghai Shenhua grabbed all three points in their fixture against Beijing Guoan.
Beijing’s day got even worse when Andre Lima was given his second booking of the match and dismissed in the final minute.
