David Beckham open to Paris Saint-Germain move

Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo contacted David Beckham regarding a move to Parc des Princes, Le Parisien reports.

Leonardo, who coached Beckham at Milan, called the former England international earlier this summer, proposing a move to Paris Saint-Germain next January.

Beckham was reportedly very flattered by the interest from the Saints and he replied that he would consider offers only after his contract with LA Galaxy expires in November.

The wage or length of the contract were not discussed, but Beckham’s move to Parc des Princes remains a possibility.

The Qatari owners are expected to send a team of emissaries in mid October to Los Angeles to meet Beckham and discuss the contract offer.

Le Parisien believes that Beckham’s wife Victoria would welcome a move to Paris, one of the fashion capitals.
