David Villa considering England move

Following Valencia’s disastrous season, David Villa looks set to leave the club in search for Champions League football. The Spanish striker joined Valencia in 2005 and has scored 58 goals for the Spanish team since. But now it looks like Villa wants to take his talents elsewhere and that he is considering joining an English club, revealed Goal.com.

Villa was thought to be looking to stay in Spain, but his recent comments will alert the Premier League’s ‘big four’. Chelsea and Liverpool have chased the striker in recent years, while Manchester United was one of the clubs battling for his signature before he joined Valencia. Arsene Wenger is also thought to be interested in the potent goalscorer.

But, judging from his comments, it would seem that Liverpool would be the most attractive choice for the Spaniard.

“Liverpool and Chelsea are both big clubs with a lot of attraction. Liverpool have a Spanish coach and I also have a lot of friends there.” Said Villa as reported by Goal.com.

David Villa is currently on international duty with Spain where he is destroying all opposition. His four goals in two matches are sure to have risen his stock, and he will be one of the hottest transfer targets this summer.
