Davide Astori in high demand

Il Messaggero has learned that a number of Europe’s top sides are showing interest in Cagliari defender Davide Astori.

The Italy international has been linked with a big club move for over a year now and it appears he will be finally leaving Isolani in the summer.

According to Il Messaggero, Juventus, AC Milan and Tottenham are the latest sides to have joined the chase for his signature.

It is believed that bitter rivals AS Roma and Lazio continue to lead the race, with a genuine bidding war on the cards in the summer.

The 27-year-old has established himself as one of the best central defenders in Serie A over the last couple of years and he has become a fixture in Italy national team.

Having all but secured league survival with an impressive away triumph over Genoa, Cagliari are priced at 21/10 to defeat Parma at home and put a dent into I Ducali’s European hopes.
