Bolton striker Kevin Davies is not happy with the way Arsenal’s players are ‘screaming’ to get people booked.
Bolton narrowly lost against the Gunners at Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
“Sometimes it feels like they are trying to earn you a booking, which is bit disappointing and in some of the challenges, I felt that I won the ball,” Davies said.
“A few of them let out a big scream, which is a bit embarrassing really because it is a man’s game.
“[Kolo] Toure did one, and he is a big, strong man. He was screaming ‘my leg’ which is a bit unnecessary - but they get the free-kicks.
“In my eyes that is cheating the referee, they have conned him, but they are good at that and you just have to get on with the game.”

Well Kevin Davies what a truly great player you arent. You clattered into Clichy in the first minute and were lucky not to get booked and then continued to foul the Arsenal players all afternoon - rarely winning the ball fairly you said it yourself. How you did not get booked nobody will ever know but other players on both teams did says more about how you managed to con the ref. And if you were a decent striker you would have put that chance away with only a few minutes to go but as you had spent most of the 90 minutes in your own half you probably thought you were passing the ball back to your own keeper. GET A LIFE AND SOME MORE PLAYERS BOLTON!
Well said Grant - what a waste of time and space Davies is - they were short of players because their first choice players were banned - QUALITY!!! I hope they enjoy their Coke next campaign. And who the F*** wrote this report ‘Narrowly lost do these twats ever watch a game?
