Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis refuses to rule out a move for Liverpool defender Andrea Dossena in the January transfer window.

The 28-year-old has long been linked with a return to Italian football and came close to joining Napoli in the summer.

De Laurentiis said: “I don’t exclude Dossena. We have also spoken about Molinaro.

“I also like Candreva. I have a great friendship with Pozzo, but we need to consult with Mazzarri before making a definitive decision.”

Reports suggest that Napoli will face competition from several other Serie A clubs for the defender.
