(GSM) – Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero believes his side is set to turn the tides when they take on Lech Poznan in the Europa League tonight.

The Bianconeri had a dismal start of the Serie A, taking just one point from their first two matches.

Despite these disappointing results, Del Piero is confident they can bounce back against the Polish side.

“We have great margins for improvement,” said the veteran forward.

“We need to be more efficient in attack and be more focused and organised on the defensive end.

“I nevertheless believe that we took a step forward against Sampdoria with respect to our first match at Bari.”

Del Piero added that the Europa League title would be an extremely tough assignment this season.

“It’s a difficult competition, with many high-level teams like Liverpool and Manchester City also in the tournament,” he added.

“It will not be easy for any team to go all the way.”
