Dele Alli 13/10 to score anytime against Watford on Monday night

Competition: Premier League

Market: Dele Alli to score anytime against Watford

Odds: 13/10 @ Bet365

Tottenham must return to winning ways against Watford to hold off Chelsea’s late surge to finish in the top four.

For Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs side, after crashing out of the FA Cup last weekend, Tottenham know that it will be another season without silverware. With just four Premier League games this season, Spurs’ full attention must be on securing a top-four finish for their new season, their Argentinian boss will be demanding a huge turn around after failing to win any of their last three in all competitions. However, with the third best-attacking stats this season, Spurs boast a tremendous home record in the Premier League and hold a stellar record against the Hornets. Spurs have only lost one home match in the league at Wembley since October 2017 and Watford have failed to beat Spurs since 1986, winning nine of their 19 meetings.

As for the Hornets, despite showing some recent signs of improvements on the pitch, Watford have drastically struggled to pick up points of late and have collected just two points out of a possible 15. Along with holding an awful record against Tottenham, Watford have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 12 meetings and have only recorded one clean sheet in their last five Premier League outings. Along with holding a poor defensive record, Watford have also shown struggles in the final third, scoring one in just their last three, midfielder Abdoulaye Doucouré is still the clubs top scorer despite not scoring in his last 13 appearances, a run stemming back to January.
