Deportivo La Coruna swoop for defensive duo

Deportivo La Coruna have strengthened their backline with the double acquisitions of Claudio Morel and Knut Rindaroy. Morel, 32, joins Super Depor on a free transfer from Argentine giants Boca Juniors. Norwegian left back Rindaroy, 25, has joined the club on loan from Molde with an option to purchase.

Deportivo were looking for reinforcements at left back following the sale of Filipe Luis to Atletico Madrid.

Morel is a left back who can also play as a central defender. He was part of the Paraguayan squad that reached the quarterfinals of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
