Former Spain international Albert Luque believes the character of Deportivo La Coruna could cause Barcelona problems on Saturday.

Barca will be looking to extend their unbeaten run start to the La Liga season when they visit the recently promoted side.

Luque, who played for Deportivo between 2002 and 2005, accepts that while the league leaders are likely to win the encounter, the courage of the hosts could hurt the visitors.

“I’m enjoying this new Depor, they do not play like a newly promoted team. They have character and courage that could harm Barcelona,” the 34-year old told Marca.

“Depor are playing at the Riazor Stadium, which changes the situation. I would like a draw, but I think Tito (Vilanova)’s side will win.”
