(GSM) – Lazio legend Paoli di Canio has hit out at Roma captain Francesco Totti.

The former West Ham United player labeled Totti ‘selfish’ and believes he angered his teammates over his strop at being substituted for Saturday’s win over Internazionale (1-0).

“He knows he is protected. In Rome, everyone knows he has been training for two years only two or three days a week with Vito Scala.

“You should never ignore your own teammates, but rejoice with them,” said Di Canio. “Francesco WAS a great player, but now he is different.

“When he was taken off, Roma seemed to be back to a team where everyone helps.

“Mirko Vucinic’s anger after the goal was also against Totti.”
