Marseille are set to reignite their interest in Sporting Lisbon winger Diego Capel, according to France Football.
OM are on the lookout for attacking reinforcements as the likes of Andre-Pierre Gignac, Andre Ayew and Mathieu Valbuena are all expected to leave in the summer.
And France Football has suggested the French giants are considering a summer move for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Diego Capel.
Marseille attempted to sign the Spaniard last year, but they were not prepared to match the €7 million asking price.
However, a lot has changed since, given that the player has lost his place in the side in the meantime and is reportedly looking for a way out.
With Capel’s contract running until June 2016, he is unlikely to come on the cheap, but his price should be lower than the aforementioned amount.
Marseille face a tricky tie this weekend in an attempt to edge closer to Europa League places as they face relegation-threatened Sochaux, with away win paying 6/5.
