Roma goalkeeper Alexander Doni insists he is not interested in joining Manchester City in the summer.
The Brazil international has been linked with a £12million move to the Premier League side.
“I don’t want to leave Roma, as my family is happy here and I am settled into the squad. It never passed my mind to request a transfer,” Doni told Corriere dello Sport.
“Last year I signed a contract that expires in 2012, so why would I want to leave? Besides, this story of an offer from Manchester City is entirely untrue.
“Even if it were, I wish to categorically confirm my happiness at Roma.
“The directors haven’t told me of any news regarding my future and I think if such a possibility did exist, they would have asked me about it.”
