Sport Bild is reporting that Borussia Dortmund will attempt to recruit Bayern Munich midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
The Millionaires are forced to cash in on Ilkay Gundogan after he opted against signing a new deal at Signal-Iduna Park and are ready to try and lure the Danish starlet to Dortmund.
That will be no easy task given that Bayern see him as an important player for the future, but the Millionaires will not give up without a fight.
Despite the fact he was not entirely satisfied with the amount of playing time at Alianz Arena, the 19-year-old signed a new deal until June 2018 with the Bavarians in January before joining Augsburg on a short-term loan.
Hojbjerg has since made a total of 16 league appearances, scoring 2 goals and producing 3 assists in the process.
He is now a target for both Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen, and maybe another loan spell could be on the cards.
