Dortmund eyeing Park Joo-Ho

Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund are showing interest in Mainz full-back Park Joo-Ho, Bild has suggested.

The 28 year old was one of Thomas Tuchel’s favourite players at Coface Arena and the new Millionaires coach now wants to get reunited with the Korean at Signal-Iduna Park.

The BVB boss sees Park as a good back-up to Marcel Schmelzer and he will attempt to recruit the experienced defender before the transfer window closes on Monday.

And with the full back having another two years left on his current deal it is believed that Mainz are holding out for €5 million, which may be too expensive for Dortmund at the moment.

Park joined the Bundesliga outfit from Basel two years ago and he went on to make 44 Bundesliga appearances for the club.

The full back remains an important member of the Korea national team and currently has 26 caps to his name.
