Dortmund join race for Franco Di Santo

Borussia Dortmund are believed to be considering a summer bid for former Chelsea forward Franco Di Santo, Bild + has suggested.

The Argentine has successfully kick-started his career at Weserstadion and is now being linked with a big club move.

Di Santo’s current contract is due to expire in just over a year and while Werder have offered the striker a new and improved deal, chances are he will be leaving the club regardless.

According to the latest reports, Borussia Dortmund are the latest side to have joined the race for his signature.

The Millionaires could offload both Ciro Immobile and Adrian Ramos in the summer, and Di Santo is clearly on their radar.

The Argentine, who hadn’t had such a big impact during his first season with Werder, has been in scintillating form this season, bagging 12 goals in 19 Bundesliga outings, and a big club move now appears on the cards.
