Dortmund linked to Kagawa, Khedira

Borussia Dortmund are being linked with summer moves for Shinji Kagawa and Sami Khedira, Sport Bild has revealed.

The Millionaires hinted at a heavy summer recruitment after it had become clear they would stay without star striker Robert Lewandowski.

And while the search for his long-term successor continues, BVB also plan to reinforce other departments in the team.

According to Sport Bild, Dortmund could make a move on former midfielder Shinji Kagawa, who is finding it hard to prove his worth at Old Trafford.

And with captain Sebastian Kehl’s contract due to expire at the end of the current campaign, the Millionaires are also believed to be pondering a bid for Sami Khedira.

Borussia Dortmund seem determined to mount a serious challenge for the Bundesliga title next term after failing to do so this season, and a couple of marque signings appear on the cards.

BVB resume their league campaign with a home game against Augsburg, where they are 3/10 favourites for the win.
