Dortmund reportedly agree deal for Ousmane Dembele

German media outlet Sport Bild claims that Borussia Dortmund have won the chase for Rennes starlet Ousmane Dembele.

An virtually unknown outside Brittany before the start of the current season, the 18-year-old has enjoyed a meteoric rise over the last year and he is now one of Europe’s hottest commodities.

Bayern Munich and Liverpool are believed to be hot on his trail, but the latest reports suggest that Borussia Dortmund are set to win the race for Dembele’s signature.

The Millionaires have reportedly reached an agreement with Rennes, meaning the talented forward will move to Signal-Iduna Park in the summer.

Capable of operating as a centre forward or on either wing, Dembele has set the Ligue 1 alight with his performances, having managed 12 goals and 5 assists in 22 league outings this season.

Following back to back defeats to Nice and Guingamp, Rennes can be backed at 7/4 to defeat Monaco and keep their Champions League hopes alive.
