The Sun newspaper claims that Chelsea striker Didier Drogba is at the centre of a fresh battle between Chelsea and Inter Milan. Rumours of the Ivory Coast striker joining up with Mourinho, his former boss were rife in the Summer and look as though they are going to come to the fore again in the January transfer window.
Just yesterday Peter Kenyon said that Drogba was going nowhere in January but I have a sneaky suspicion that he might do soon. Drogba has had an injury and suspension plagued season and hasn’t looked truly happy since his sending off in last season’s Champions League final.
He may feel that Mourinho is the man to get him back to his happiest and his best.
