Dynamo Kiev ink Benoit Tremoulinas

Dynamo Kiev have confirmed they have completed the signing of French defender Benoit Tremoulinas from Bordeaux.

The 27-year-old has put pen to paper on a four-year deal after successfully passing a medical at NSK Olimpiyskiy.

Tremoulinas is club’s fourth high-profile signing this summer, with Jeremain Lens, Dieumerci Mbokani and Younes Belhanda having previously joined.

The France international was looking for a new challenge after spending his entire professional career at Stade Chaban Delmas and he was powerless to resist a lucrative offer from Ukraine.

Tremoulinas has made a total of 165 Ligue 1 appearances for les Girondins, scoring 5 goals in the process, and was widely considered to be one of the best left backs in France’s top flight.

The highly rated defender was recently handed his interantional debut as he made a substitute appearances in a friendly match against Italy, before playing full 90 minutes in a 1-0 defeat to Uruguay.
