(GSM) – VfL Wolfsburg striker Edin Džeko admits he’s still disappointed his club wouldn’t let him join Juventus this summer.

The prolific striker was strongly linked with a move to the Bianconeri but his club hold sticked to the €40million transfer fee.

Juve’s general manager Giuseppe Marotta told the Italian media that it would be a dream to sign the Bosnian international one day in the future.

Quoted in this morning’s Tuttosport, Džeko said: “I cannot hide my disappointment at not moving to Juventus.

“??I believed until the last moment that Wolfsburg and the Bianconeri would reach an agreement above all when the two clubs opened talks for Diego.

“Unfortunately it didn’t go how I wanted it to,”? he concluded.
