The play-offs final match with FC Twente last Sunday, was Edgar Davids’ last match wearing the shirt of Ajax Amsterdam.
Davids joined Ajax last season and won the Dutch Cup that year, but hasn’t been able to be of much importance this season.
In fact, the midfielder broke a shinbone and was sidelined for nine months as result.
The ‘Pittbul’, who began his career at Ajax and played for clubs as AC Milan, Juventus, Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur since, feels fit enough to continue at the highest level:
“At this moment I don’t know what I’m going to do. Interest has been shown from Dutch teams and from abroad.”
