Eduard Atuesta joins Los Angeles FC

Los Angeles FC have completed the signing of Colombian midfielder Eduard Atuesta from Independiente de Medellin, it has been revealed.

The MLS side acquired the player using Targeted Allocation Money, and the 20-year-old will occupy an international slot on the roster.

Atuesta had impressed captaining Colombia at the Under-20 South American Championship in Ecuador, where he made a total of 7 appearances.

The youngster also has some senior experience having made 29 league outings for Independiente de Medellin.

Los Angeles FC head coach Bob Bradley believes Atuesta can made quite an impact in Major League Soccer, although he will probably need some time to adjust to the new surroundings.
