Elkann confident of successful Juventus season

Juventus patron Lapo Elkann believes the club can win the Scudetto, the Coppa Italia and the Champions League this season.

“As a Juve fan, I am always positive. I believe we can fight to the wire on all fronts: the Scudetto, the Coppa Italia and the Champions League,” he is quoted as saying in Tuttosport.

Elkann is also looking forward to the clash with AC Milan on Sunday night, a match he considers to be the ‘real Derby d’Italia’.

“This is not a game like any other, as two of the best clubs in the world will square off,” he enthused, “I consider it to be the real Derby d’Italia between two prestigious sides.

“Milan have been more successful outside Italy, but we are hopeful we will soon catch up with them.”
