Elvedi twins to be reunited at Gladbach

Bild has learned that Winterthur defender Jan Elvedi is undergoing a trial at Borussia M’gladbach.

Die Fohlen had recruited Nico Elvedi from Zurich last summer and they could now also sign his twin brother Jan.

Jan Elvedi has been training with the club’s youth sides for several days now and it is believed Borussia are seriously thinking about purchasing his contract.

Just like his twin brother, the Winterthur youngster also plays at centre-back, although he has struggled for playing time since being promoted to the first team set up.

Meanwhile, Nico Elvedi has already shown a great deal of promise at Borussia Park, making a total of 20 league appearances for the Bundesliga giants.

The Borussia centre-back claims that his brother is just as good as he is, and there is a chance die Fohlen will make a move on the €200,000 rated Jan Elvedi at the end of the current season.
