Urby Emanuelson wants to remain in the Premier League after a successful spell on loan at Fulham.
The midfielder temporarily moved to Craven Cottage in January after finding his first-team opportunities limited at parent club Milan.
Manager Martin Jol is interested in a permanent deal for the Dutchman, but concedes a full transfer may not be possible.
However, Emanuelson enjoyed his spell in England and will look to sort his future during the off-season.
“I think I adapted to the needs of English football well,” he said.
“I have played in Italy and the Netherlands, both of which are excellent leagues.
“But the football in England is totally different. I arrived in January, and grasped the opportunity with both hands. I’ve always wanted to play in the Premier League.”
The 26-year-old scored one goal in 13 appearances for Fulham.
