Sevilla manager Unai Emery is confident that midfield duo Geoffrey Kondogbia and Gary Medel will remain at the club.
Emery’s men produced an excellent performance to secure a 3-0 win in the first leg of their UEFA Europa League third qualifying round clash with Mladost Podgorica on Thursday.
New signing Carlos Bacca was on the scoresheet for Sevilla, but neither Kondogbia nor Medel participated in the game.
Real Madrid and Arsenal are reported to be interested in Frenchman Kondogbia, while Everton are thought to be keen to secure the services of Medel.
However, Emery insists that he has no desire to allow either player to leave.
“We want him (Kondogbia) to stay here, but there are circumstances that could lead to an exit,” he told Marca.
“I am sure that the two are not going to go.
“We will not make any movement to sell. There is no need to sell, we are sure of that in the club.”
