England have made a strong start to the 2018 World Cup with a dramatic victory over Tunisia, and will be confident of making it two wins from two as they face Panama on Sunday.

For Gareth Southgate’s The Lions, although they may have left it late in Volgograd, England are off to a winning start in group G and a fourth victory on the bounce will see them secure a spot in the last 16. While Tunisia may have converted their highly controversial penalty, that was the Reds only shot on target and Southgate’s side should fancy their chances of keeping a clean sheet on Sunday. With Tottenham striker Harry Kane scoring 30 Premier League goals last season, the 25-year-old also recorded a brace against Tunisia in the opening fixture and will look to add to his tally.

As for Hernán Darío Gómez’s Panama side, although nobody expected the World Cup debutants to make any kind of major impact in Group G, Panama did manage to withstand Belgium’s star-studded squad until half-time. However, with Romelu Lukaku scoring twice, The Whites slumped to a 3-0 defeat in their first ever World Cup outing and it’s hard to see them testing a somewhat revitalized England side. Along with failing to find the net in their last three matches on the bounce, Gómez’s Panama side have only scored one goal against Trinidad and Tobago in their last six.
