A recent article on The Times Online stated that Ruud van Nistelrooy has averaged about 2 goals every 3 games for Real Madrid since his move from Manchester United two hot summers ago. Despite this bit of news, the Madrid club is willing to listen to offers for their Dutch striker.
Apparently the club which leads the chase for the former Manchester United hitman is Tottenham Hotspur. Goal.com reports that a bid of about €20 million would be enough to convince Real Madrid to sell the player.
Juande Ramos has spent vast amounts of money so far this summer bringing in Croat midfielder Luka Modric and Barcelona starlet Giovani dos Santos. He will now be looking to bring in a replacements for Dimitar Berbatov. The Bulgarian has been linked with Manchester United since the day he came to White Hart Lane. Now it seems that Sir Alex Ferguson might finally land his target.
