Feyenoord climbed to third on the Eredivisie table after accounting for Vitesse 2-0 on Sunday.

Goals from Graziano Pelle and Lex Immers secured the win for Feyenoord, who went into the clash one point behind Vitesse.

Pelle scored from the penalty spot in the 39th minute, before Immers doubled the advantage five minutes into the second half.

Feyenoord trail leaders Ajax by four points with three games left to play, and are equal on points with second-placed PSV Eindhoven, who have a superior goal difference.

Meanwhile, FC Twente came from two goals down to secure a 2-2 draw with lowly VVV Venlo.

Goals from Nils Roseler and Uche Nwofor put VVV in a commanding position, before Rasmus Bengtsson and Luc Castaignos struck in the space of two second-half minutes to clinch a share of the spoils.

Goals from Mike van der Hoorn, Jens Toornstra and Edouard Duplan guided sixth-placed Utrecht to a 3-0 victory over NAC Breda.

And PEC Zwolle climbed further away from the relegation zone with a deserved 3-1 win against NEC away from home.
