Eredivisie wrap: Twente reclaim top spot

Dusan Tadic starred as Twente beat Feyenoord 3-0 to replace PSV at the top of the Eredivisie on Sunday.

Tadic set up Nacer Chadli to open the scoring after nine minutes at De Grolsch Veste before the hosts extended their advantage through Luc Castaignos eight minutes later.

Serbia international Tadic added to the scoring with a 77th-minute free kick as Steve McClaren’s side moved a point ahead at the summit.

Elsewhere, second-half goals from Victor Palsson and Geert Roorda saw NEC to a 2-1 victory at Groningen, who had taken an 11th-minute lead via Michael de Leeuw.

Heerenveen won by the same scoreline as goals from Alfredh Finnbogason and Daniel de Ridder helped them to victory over Zwolle, who netted a late consolation through Joey van den Berg.

Following the same pattern, AZ Alkmaar succumbed to a 2-1 home defeat to VVV, while NAC Breda claimed just their third win of the season in a 2-1 victory over RKC Waalwijk.
