Eriksen pleased with Liverpool interest

Ajax midfielder Christian Eriksen has admitted his pride at being linked with Liverpool and has hinted he may move at the end of the season.

The Denmark international has reportedly been chased by a number of clubs, and while the 20-year-old believes he is likely to remain in Amsterdam this season, he did not rule out a move the following campaign.

“It’s nice when big clubs show interest,” Eriksen told Tipsbladet.

“It is special to me, but I think at this point I will not transfer. It all depends on how this season develops.”

Eriksen has 26 international caps to his name and was part of the Denmark squads for Euro 2012 and the 2010 World Cup.
