The club state that the contract was terminated mutually.
The news doesn’t come as much of a surprise as Eriksson’s relationship with club owner Thaksin Shinawatra has been anything but easy in recent months. In fact, Shinawatra hinted at a departure in April.
Eriksson, who wished Manchester City all the best for the future, has been linked to several other jobs in the last weeks.
