Marcelo Estigarribia says he is thrilled with life at Juventus and is looking forward to a period of success in Turin.
The 24-year-old Paraguayan winger joined Juventus from Deportivo Maldonado on a one-year loan deal at the start of the 2011/12 campaign, and is keen to repay the faith shown in him by boss Antonio Conte.
“Wearing this legendary shirt is a great honour, and therefore we must give our all under every circumstance,” Estigarribia told Sky Sport.
“I’m trying to do just that in order to keep this club’s name high, and to repay the trust I was given with all my commitment.”
“When you join a great side like Juventus, you’ve reached the top and you can only fight for hitting every target. I’m happy that this is happening now.”
“Here there are real champions who have won a lot, however they’re the first who give their all in trainings. For new arrivals, like me, this is a further spur to get deeply involved and try to take advantage of the chances I’ve been given.”
Estigarribia has scored one goal in nine Serie A appearances for Conte’s side.
