European giants battle for Metz wonderkid

German media outlet Sport Bild claims that a number of high-profile clubs are showing interest in Metz forward Vincent Thill.

The 16-year-old has already made his first senior appearances for both Metz and the Luxembourg national team, and he is predicted a bright future in the game.

And it appears that the Ligue 1 side face a real battle on their hands in an attempt to keep hold of their prized asset, as top European clubs have been casting admiring glances towards Thill.

According to reports, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus are all keen, and they continue to monitor the player’s performances.

Thill has a contract until June 2019 with Metz and he has so far made one substitute appearance in Ligue 1.

The attacking midfielder is already considered a first team regular in the Luxembourg national team, having started each of their three 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
