European giants vying for Bologna starlets

La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that a number of top European sides are casting admiring glances towards four Bologna youngsters.

Sporting director Panteleo Corvino and coach Roberto Donadoni have done some excellent transfer business over the last year or so, and the club are now in a position to reap the rewards of their work.

Guinean midfielder Amadou Diawara, who joined the club for €800,000, has quickly become one of the most sought after footballers in Italian Serie A, and is currently valued at over €20 million.

Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Juventus and Manchester City are all hot on his trail, and it remains to be seen whether Bologna will be able to ward off interest in his services.

Fellow midfielder Godfrey Donsah has been on the radar of Juventus and Napoli, and he has continued with impressive displays since joining from Cagliari.

Defenders Adam Masina and Ibrahima M’Baye have been attracting attention as well, meaning Bologna could be in for a very busy summer transfer window.
