Everton 17/20 to beat West Ham in Sundays Premier League showdown

Competition: Premier League

Market: Everton win

Odds: 17/20 @ Bet 365

Drastically struggling under new boss Manuel Pellegrini, an out of form West Ham side will be looking for their first point of the season when they travel to Merseyside on Sunday.

Starting with the hosts, although Everton are still looking for their first clean sheet of the season, Marco Silva’s side find themselves seventh in the table entering September. With new £40million man Richarlison hitting the ground running and scoring three in his opening two prior to his sending off before the international break, there is a new found confidence around Goodison. Along with putting four past West Ham last season, The Blues are yet to be beaten in any competition this season and a return to European football could be on the cards.

As for the visitors, life under former Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini couldn’t be going any worse in East London. Coming off the back of a very lackluster 1-0 loss at home to newly-promoted Wolves, The Hammers have now lost all four of their opening Premier League games. Although they spent over £100million this summer, West Ham are drastically struggling to gel. Conceding 10 in their opening four games, the visitors also hold the worst defensive record in the entire division.
