Competition: Premier League
Market: Everton to finish bottom-half
Odds: 4/7 @ Bet 365

Everton remain in the bottom-half of the Premier League table after suffering a narrow defeat to Manchester United on the weekend, and manager Roberto Martinez is running out of time to get the Merseysiders back into the top-half before the campaign comes to a close.

Everton are 12th in the league with 38 points from 30 games this season, and are coming off the back of four defeats from their last five. The Toffees have struggled for consistency all through the campaign, while their form surprisingly better on the road than at home.

Their woes this season have led to Martinez’s job being speculated about given they have recently announced the new ownership, but the immediate worry will be rectifying their woeful league campaign. Many of Everton’s star players are now considering their future, and the Blues could be in big trouble this summer as a result.

Martinez’s men underperformed last season too, finishing 11th with a meagre 47 points. Bet 365 are giving odds of 4/7 for Everton to finish in the bottom-half of the Premier League again this campaign, which would surely put intense pressure on the manager given the talented squad at his disposal.
